Call for Posters

Graphics Interface (GI) 2022, the 48th annual conference, will be held at ETS University in Montreal, Canada, from May 17-19, 2022. GI consistently attracts high-quality submissions on recent advances in computer graphics, human-computer interaction, and visualization.

We invite authors to submit posters that demonstrate late breaking research and work-in-progress covering all aspects of computer graphics, human-computer interaction, and visualization. We also invite authors of recent work that has been published elsewhere, but is relevant to the GI themes, to submit posters for presentation at the conference.

GI’s poster session provides an excellent opportunity for discussion and networking with the attendees of the conference. There will also be a poster “fast-forward” session providing authors with the opportunity to “pitch” their work in front of a larger audience. Further details will be provided to authors of accepted posters.

Important dates

Poster deadline: March 25, 2022 (5:00 p.m. EST)

Author notification: April 15, 2022

Awards

Two best poster awards will be presented at the conference: one for the human-computer interaction/visualization track, and one for the graphics track. The awards will be given to best posters for unpublished work involving a student author. Authors of winning posters will also receive a CHCCS/SCDHM sponsored prize and a dedicated recognition on the GI website.

Submission details

Poster abstracts in PDF format can be emailed to: fateme.rajabiyazdi@carleton.ca.

Submissions should include authors’ names and affiliations and should not exceed 2 pages formatted according to the GI formatting instructions. If the work has been published elsewhere, the citation and venue should be identified in the abstract.
