Graphics Interface is the longest continuously running Graphics and Interaction conference. In 2024 we will celebrate its 50th edition. GI has a long legacy of attracting high-quality research on human-computer interaction, interactive systems, computer graphics, and visualization. The conference brings together researchers in these fields from across the globe, and it is an essential event for bringing together international and Canadian researchers, academics, and industry practitioners.
This year, GI will have a hybrid participation model where participants can attend the conference in person or online. This will allow for great accessibility while maintaining strong interaction between participants. The conference will be located in Halifax, Canada. We count on you to come and participate in GI 2024!
We will arrange poster sessions, hands-on workshops, and multiple social events, including a gala dinner. These are all great opportunities to network with leading researchers in the field, to reach students looking to contribute to industry and academia and to influence the future of graphics, interactivity and visualization. We will also present multiple awards, including the CHCCS/SCDHM achievement award, service awards, early career researcher award, and multiple student awards.
