Abstract
I've been in Canada doing research and teaching for just about half of my life. It's been fun. I will share some of the lessons I've learned and things I have discovered, but mostly I want to convey a sense of my delight in having had the good fortune over the years to always have worked within a collaborative setting, both in terms of the actual research that often involved systems to support communication between people and in terms of how the research itself was undertaken by a team of people.
