Overview

The fortieth Graphics Interface featured invited speakers, Elizabeth Churchill, eBay Research Labs, and Matthias Müller, NVIDIA, both well known for their exemplary contributions to their disciplines. Eugene Fiume, University of Toronto, was this year’s recipient of the recipient of the CHCCS/SCDHM Achievement Award. The two dissertation award winners were Hua Li, University of North Carolina, Wilmington (2013 Alain Fournier Dissertation Award winner), and Xing-Dong Yang, University of Calgary (2013 Bill Buxton Dissertation Award winner). NVIDIA and Intel were sponsors of this year’s conference.
